How to run it ?

Start from cold temperature 3K

Initial Conditions required:
Tsorb= 2.87K, THe3Low=3.09K and High=2.96K, THeat_Switch=25K, TPt2=2.87, Twater/flow=25/890, Pressure_Pump=20

  • Fill in the notebook with Tsorb, THe3Low and High, THeat_Switch, TPt2, Twater/flow, Pressure_Pump
  • Fill He3 gas from the dump into the sorb
  1. Open V1 while HeatSW is opened (Heat Switch set to 25K)
  2. Note time and wait for at least 1hour
  • Collect liquid He3 into the He3 pot
  1. Fill in the notebook with Tsorb, THe3Low and High, THeat_Switch, TPt2, Twater/flow, Pressure_Pump. Typicall Conditions required:Tsorb= 2.95K, THe3Low=3.048K and High=2.927K, THeat_Switch=25K, TPt2=2.877, Twater/flow=25/890,
  2. Close V1. Write it down.
  3. Turn off the Heat_Switch until THeat_Switch quite stable around 3.3K. Press Manual and then lower the value of the heater.
  4. Turn on the Sorb Heater just pressing Auto on the Heater Menu when sorb button is red. The Pressure of the Dump will increase. Note its value from time to time. Typical value at the beginning: 2bar. Wait at least 1hour.
  • Reduce the He3 gas at the liquid surface in the He3 pot
  1. Open V1 for 1mn.
  2. Turn off the sorb heater.
  3. Turn on the switch heater.
